Assembly of the base was relatively straight forward but be careful about the top you select for your desk -- largest size (1800x800) do not come with holes pre-drilled or marked, so a large set square, measuring tape, an electric drill, some calculations and patience are required for complete assembly. Took me a few hours to complete the entire desk. Could have done with some extra reminders to extend certain parts of the base and handle in the instructions. Had a moment where I thought the handle crank shaft wouldn't reach to the edge of the table because the instructions did not explicitly state how to extend the shaft (loosen tiny bolt on the shaft casing). Now it's constructed, very sturdy and easy to use both at bench and seated height.
