Design of the hardware is good. Lift and stablity of the base is fine. The cushion is supportive and firm. So far so good.
But someone forgot to tell the Communist factory when they ripped the design off from the original, that the purpose of a stool is for sitting. The fabric is made of some teflon like slick material. You slip right off and I've aready landed flat on my back once and come close half a dozen times. And that's wearing canvas shorts and jeans- it only gets worse from there. The only way to stay on, is to put an old rugby jersey or T shirt on the pad to stop it scooting away.
The website recommended one use for this in bars... the bouncers would throw the falling patrons out before they finished their first drink. Might cost the country more in ACC injuries but keep people out of courts.
